Here's a quick tip for those of you using Internet Explorer 7 which features tabbed browsing. In case you didn't know tabbed browsing allows you to open multiple pages in a single browser window. Each page is represented on a separate tab. To open a new tab just click the right-most available tab.
If you are working in PHAnetwork.com, you can use this feature to keep your place in case you need to do a quick lookup or retrieve a report. For example, let's assume you are working on a tenant's recertification. Your phone rings and another tenant wants to know what their current tenant-ledger balance is so thay can come in with a check. Here's what to do.
- Open a new tab in your browser window
- Navigate to PHAnetwork.com either by typing in the address bar or clicking on PHAnetwork.com in your Favorites.
- Click the [Login] button. (Since you've already logged in with the browser you are automatically redirected to the main page).
- Search for the tenant and look at his/her tenant ledger.
- Once you are done, close the tab by clicking the X at the end of the tab.
After closing your tab you are left in the original tab where you were working on the recertification. That's all you need to do to allow multi-tabbing in PHAnetwork.com.
